What holds the transaction together
A checkout runs underneath your offering. It quotes the price, takes the payment and only then hands over the goods. Agreement, payment, billing, delivery and receipt stay one single transaction.
We set the checkout up and connect it to your system. You can also do the connection yourself: the protocol, the developer kit and the guide are publicly available.
Catalogue, price, delivery
Catalogue and price. Your offering stays in your system and is mirrored, or it sits with NemosGo, as a white label under your brand. Prices can be fixed or follow usage.
Delivery is tied to the purchase. Ticket, file or access reaches the buyer in the same transaction.
Where you sell. On your website and in your app, on social media, in messengers, in AI assistants and, in future, at the till. Details are under Sell and bill.
What you need for it
- Something digital that can be sold as a single item. An article, a ticket, a stock photo, a register extract, a model call. It has to be handed over at once, without shipping and without collection.
- A price or a rule to calculate one. 25 cents per article, 15 euros per ticket, a rate per second of computing time.
- A way of delivering. The file itself, a call through your interface, or access that opens after the purchase.
- An account with a licensed payment service provider. Your customers top up through it, or you collect from business customers afterwards.
- A one-off connection. Catalogue, delivery and prices are wired up once. The developer page explains how.
The path to your first sale
- We look at your offering.
- You bring the payment service provider, or we suggest a licensed European one.
- Your company is vetted there, as at any account opening.
- We connect your system. You set the prices, with a minimum amount or a cap if you need one.
- You get the wallet as an app under your brand.
- A test purchase, then you are live. If you develop yourself you can test before any of this: the protocol and the developer kit are open.
It is quicker if a company connects you. If you sell to a company that uses NemosGo for its own buying, it connects your offering to its checkout. You only make your interface available; nothing changes in your system.
What it costs
- Whoever introduces NemosGo pays. If you use NemosGo yourself, you pay a monthly software fee, tiered by usage. On top, where you need them, the one-off setup and agreed support.
- If a company connects you. Then the company pays, because it introduces NemosGo. The connection costs you nothing.
- For operations. If we take them on, they are agreed separately, by scope and by the availability committed.
- No share of the sale price. What you take in stays yours.
- Payment processing is separate. You settle those fees with your payment service provider, at the top-up or at collection.
Who does what
NemosGo supplies the infrastructure as software. The money, the account and the installation are yours.
- Checkout, backend and app run in your installation, under your brand.
- Your buyer has a contract with you, not with NemosGo.
- What they top up sits in your account. NemosGo holds no money.
- If you sell to companies, you decide whether they top up beforehand or you collect afterwards, and which payment terms apply.
- A buyer can have any remaining credit paid out.
- If a delivery fails to arrive, the buyer claims it from you.
- A buyer can cancel a purchase where you have marked the offering as cancellable. You decide on every request, and you void the goods afterwards in your own system.
- Invoicing, returns, taxes and the content stay with you.
- NemosGo sets the protocol, defines the chain of evidence and maintains the software.
Two levels. On one the money flows, and there a licensed payment service provider does the work. On the other the transaction runs: agreement, payment, billing, delivery, receipt. They are joined only by instructions: money flows in when a wallet is topped up or an amount is collected, and out again when it is paid out.
Operations and maturity
- Offered today. NemosGo as a white label under your brand: your installation, your account. It is run by you or by us, with an availability we agree with you. Smaller providers join a network, a kiosk or a marketplace that runs NemosGo for its members.
- Tested. In the field test, the culture magazine alone has seen more than 500 purchases since June, paid from test credit. Within the system it was real credit, simply issued to participants rather than paid in. Payment, delivery and receipt ran exactly as they do with euros.
- Being built out. Connecting the bank account for paying in and out through the licensed payment service provider, plus scaling, high availability and monitoring.
