Why NemosGo exists
Hardly anyone opens a customer account for 25 cents. That is exactly where small purchases fail online: card payments usually carry a fixed base fee, and every purchase starts with an account and a form. For small amounts it is not worth it, not even where people search today.
That is why the web has settled on advertising and subscriptions. Whoever offers a single text, a piece of information or a data set often goes unpaid, and people do not buy where they find things but after a detour through shop and account.
With AI assistants this becomes an urgent question. More and more, people search there, and soon the assistants will buy on their own, call by call, in amounts for which there is no suitable way to pay yet. Today they do it with a password and a card number, that is, with the full authority of the person they work for. The rules for this are being written right now by the large platforms. That decides who stands between the provider and its customers when something is bought.
Where we want NemosGo to take this
We want to bring payments into the present and build them for tomorrow: paying digitally as with cash and delivering in the same transaction, for people and for machines.
To do this, NemosGo combines payment and merchandise management in one system: from agreement to receipt, one transaction, cryptographically linked. What that looks like in detail is set out under Products and The technology behind it.
Providers decide. Price, terms and brand stay with the provider, even when the purchase begins in an assistant. The contract is made between the provider and the buyer, with no platform in between.
Checked, yet private. Checked and valid like cash, without having to reveal who you are. Buyers who wish to can remain pseudonymous towards the provider, as far as the law allows.
The smallest thing on its own. An article, a piece of information, a model call: as much a matter of course for 25 cents as for 2,500 euros. That way the sources get paid too, not only those who hold the customer.
Machines with permission. An agent buys only within the limits a person has set, and every one of its purchases is documented and attributed.
In European hands. In euros and under European law. Not in a cryptocurrency, and not by the rules others have written for their platforms.
Today and tomorrow. Today we offer NemosGo as a white label: for one provider or one network, within a limited circle of buyers and offers. In future we want to offer payment services beyond that, with partners or under a licence of our own.
Digital euro and digital identity. We look forward to supporting the digital euro and to bringing in digital identities, such as the European EUDI Wallet. The digital euro fits paying in European hands, and a digital identity lets people identify themselves only when a purchase requires it.
Who is behind it
In early 2026 we started NemosGo. The first purchases ran in June, the field test with three organisations in July and August, and since the end of July purchases in the AI assistant as well. Since August we have traded as NemosGo GmbH, based in Munich.
We are supported by a network of experienced specialists who advise us on individual questions or work on NemosGo themselves.
How we work
Without generative AI there would be no NemosGo in this form. The technology is demanding, the environment tightly regulated, the business full of twists and turns. Between the two of us, with a few specialists behind us, that would not have been possible a few years ago.
We therefore use AI not only as the subject of our products but as a tool in building them. That changes three things: ideas can be tested faster, prototypes take days rather than weeks, and tangled connections become visible at all, in technology, law and business at once.
AI replaces neither experience nor responsibility. We make the decisions ourselves.
